Thursday, July 18, 2025 — Marking the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year, the Department of Communication Science at Universitas Riau warmly welcomes the new students of the Class of 2025. In this spirited and hopeful moment, the Head of the Department, Dr. Rumyeni, M.Sc., expressed her commitment to fostering an academic environment that supports student growth and development.

As part of their introduction to university life, the new students will participate in the Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) from July 31 to August 2, 2025. This program aims to provide students with a foundational understanding of higher education values, academic ethics and culture, as well as student life and organizational opportunities on campus. Through this activity, new students are expected to adapt well and be prepared to face their academic journey with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility.
